Reflective Essay Post

My research paper I found very informational I enjoyed doing it because I learned a lot of new things that I had no idea about.

I learned things about myself and about peoples health in general. I learned what fad diets are and how they effect people. I learned the pros and cons about them and healthy diets (more natural diets).  Fad diets are interesting because they are diets that people do and think that they are healthy because they lose weight but they only lose weight.  Some of these have some weird effects on people because you only eat the same thing every single day for a specific amount of time.

Also I learned that not all “healthy” diets are healthy. They may haven things in them that could be dangerous for the body or it may have an UN-healthy approach to them.  Also not every persons body is the same and can adapt to a diet the same way others do.

I feel like its important to get it out because people need to know what is really healthy for them and what isn’t. Also if someone does not need to go on a diet then they should force themselves to. I believe that people should go see a traditionalist before going on a diet.

If someone needs to go on a diet then they should do it the healthier way not in a way that is going to harm them. They need to balance eating, working out and sleep. I feel as if sleep is an important factor because no body really thinks of this as a huge part of a diet and it is. its just as important as eating and working out.

If you eat healthy and smaller proportions and you balance that out with exercising and sleep you will find yourself living a very healthy life style and it will make you a lot healthier. I’m glad that I chose this topic because i found it very informational.

 

Forensic science!!!

Forensic Science/ Chemistry is something I’ve been passionate about for so long I love everything about it. It is something I have been interested in since I was 9 and started watching SVU (Law and Order),  CSI and NCSI. I have alwasy loved science I love conducting experiments and looking at the data making the hypothesis. Theres just something about science that makes me was to pursue a career in it. Ive been dedicated to it for so many years.

When I was in 4th grade I remember going up to my science teacher and telling her I wanted to be in forensic chemistry. She put me in science club and we did so many cool experiments also went to competitions where I got 1st place in conducting experiments.

I want to make the world a better and safer place and in forensic chemistry I will be able to do those things. I will be able to solve crimes using evidence and science behind it and be able to prove whether or not someone is guilty of doing something while using science and that makes me so happy.

I would love to go to the University of Florida after I go to junior college and get my general Ed done and start preparing for Forensics.

I would love to one day work for the FBI or CSI doing forensics for them because that a high ranked position and they only higher the best of the best. I may just be hired in a local area working for the FDA it all just depends on my high skills (I may even go for getting my doctorate) and my level of experience.

Emotional Wllness

Emotional Wellness

In my opinion to have emotional wellness is to be emotionally balanced. To not be worrying about to much to also have a balance of good and bad. Some things that I ask myself are:

Am I able to maintain a balance of work, family, friends, and other obligations?

Do I have ways to reduce stress in my life?

Am I able to make decisions with a minimum of stress and worry?

Am I able to set priorities?

These are very important questions because you need to be able to have balance and not be stressing out about to much because then that’s all you focus on. Also you need to put whats important and get it done first also I have learned that not only do you need to put the important things first but you also have to make sure you do things little by little. One step at a time if you’re trying to do to much at one you will become overwhelmed.

I know that I don’t always do these things and i need to have more balance in my life because I stress myself out and i worry about everything all at once and that isn’t healthy.
